THE PASSPORTE IS AN ONLINE FINE ART SPACE DEDICATED TO CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHY THAT AIMS TO NOURISH THE CREATION OF SUCCESSFUL ART BY NEW AND EMERGING PHOTOGRAPHERS

We discover and promote artists through a program of group exhibitions juried by renowned curators, photo editors, gallerists and artists. We provide important opportunities for new, emerging and established photographers to gain crucial experience with juried shows and develop their exhibition resumes. Through innovative marketing we aim to provide broad exposure for the selected works and allow artists and their audiences to connect.

Our program includes the following opportunities for photographers:

Featured Artist: Envisioned as a solo exhibition, we offer photographers the opportunity to showcase a developed project or body of work, usually 10-20 images, accompanied by an articulate artist statement and interview. This enables the artist to articulate and refine their project and statement.

The Passporte Prizes: Themed open calls for entry, juried by renowned curators, photo editors and gallerists, leading to a group exhibition and prize awards. We help photographers gain crucial experience with juried shows and develop their exhibition resumes. Photographers are expected to submit 3-5 images on the theme.

Passporte Prize for Street Photography Honoring Henri Cartier-Bresson
Passporte Prize for Surreal Photography Honoring Man Ray
Passporte Prize for People & Portrait Photography Honoring Irving Penn
Passporte Prize for Landscape & Nature Photography Honoring Ansel Adams
Passporte Prize for Built Environments & Architecture Photography Honoring Eugene Atget

The Passporte Salons: Traditionally an exhibition of works of art by living artists, the salon is an opportunity for photographers to showcase single images, enabling them to build an audience and and dialogue around their work. Photographers are expected to submit a single image on the theme. Submission to the Salon are free
