The Passporte Prize Call for Entry is an opportunity for photographers to showcase their work around particular themes. Juried by renowned curators, photo editors, gallerists and photographers, the Passporte Prize helps photographers gain crucial experience with juried shows and develop their exhibition resumes. Photographers are invited to submit 3 images on the theme.
Passporte Prize for Surreal Photography Honoring Man Ray
Surreal images range from the impossible to an overlap of, and possibly a collision between, the real and the imaginary. They sustain a tension that challenges the viewer to think beyond reason and obvious calculation. The viewer is invited to decipher metaphor and delve into dreamscapes, to draw meaning or simply to ponder a fantastic, irrational moment.
For this group exhibition, we seek photographs that draw the viewer into an experience beyond the explicable and the ordinary. We are open to your personal vision of this theme.
